President's Message Prof. Dr. Pan Lusheng President of Shandong University of Art and Design Welcome to Shandong University of Art and Design.

   Shandong University of Art and Design is situated in the historically famous city, Ji'nan. Nearby to the south is Mount Tai, and to the north is Yellow River. Currently, there are two campuses, one is on the foot of Thousand Buddha Mountain near the downtown, and the other is located in the university town on the edge of Ji’nan.
    As one of 31 art and design universities in China, Shandong University of Art and Design has put first priority on the art disciplines, at the same time placing importance on liberal and scientific disciplines as its two supporting wings, with the goal of fostering “scientific spirit, humanistic accomplishment, artistic innovation, and technical skills”. During the part thirty years, numerous graduates have designed a wide variety of excellent works, reflecting people's life and exerting a great influence on the neighboring community. Lots of works were awarded the prizes in national and international competitions and exhibitions.
    We have been devoting ourselves to exchange and cooperation with other excellent art and design schools at home and abroad. Artists and designers from all over the world are welcome to give lectures, and students from foreign countries are welcome to study here. You are welcome to join our family.
