The School of Further Education

 

  The School of Further Education of Shandong University of Arts and Design began in 1990 and experienced the development phase of adult education office, department of adult education. In October 2002, it was renamed as the school of further education. At present, the type of running school is divided as spare time study, full-time study and correspondence study. There are 3 levels of educational background, professional subjects, underground course and from professional subject to underground course. For the professional subjects there are the majors of decoration art design, advertisement design, environmental art design and fashion design; for the underground course there are the majors of decoration art design, advertisement design and environmental design; for the correspondent education the majors include all the courses of the professional subjects and the underground course. In 2004, the major of painting and calligraphy will be newly added. At present, there are 580 students. In June 2003,the institute of further education decided that each concerned department is responsible for the teaching and management of the students and the institute is only in charge of the enrollment, the management of the student's status, management of the graduation certificate and the management of the correspondence station.
