School of Fashion Design

   School of fashion design was set up in 1983. In 1984, the school began to enroll the students for the professional subject and in 1995 the school began to enroll the students for undergraduate course of fashion design, in 1998 the school was adjusted to the major of fashion design and engineering, including fashion design, fashion engineering and fashion show, 3specialties. The students in the school are four-year system undergraduate course with the Bachelor of Arts. At present, there are 14 teachers, including 1 professor, 3 associate professors. The school sets up 3 teaching research rooms, 4 working rooms. The school insists on the teaching thought of combining the theory with the practice and the integration of the art education with the technical training. The school adopted the flexible and changeable teaching methods to meet the demands of the changing market to obtain a series of achievements in teaching and scientific research. The course of <fashion structure design> was chosen as "the reform-testing course of higher education in Shandong province" and " fashion structure design and technique" won the high university teaching achievements prize in Shandong province. A lot of fashion design works won the national and provincial prizes.
